When will Dr. Pastel's goodness ever stop!
Encino, CA (GSP). In the "Neighbors" section of the Encino Tribunal today, an article was published on Dr. Pastel mentorship of a local teenager in Encino. The teenager, named Amar Patel, was taken to the zoo, helped with SAT's, and given financial advice on his myspace group. Dr. Pastel has changed this kid's life. Once a loner and social recluse, Amar Patel will now go to South California State College - San Carlos to study criminal justice. Amar Patel's mother, Anita Patel was quoted as saying, "Dr. Pastel is a regular fixture at our house. He comes over to watch television with the children and regularly eats at our table. Dr. Pastel does what he does out of the goodness of his heart. What makes him rich is not money, but goodness."
Dr. Pastel is also not stingy with his paycheck. He has also joined One Voice, an organization that supports children in war-torn Africa. Reportedly, Dr. Pastel gives $0.30 a day to help an African child named Manuel eat, go to school, and pay rent for a studio apartment in Nairobi. Manuel is reported to want to pursue acting.
