Amar embraces embalming apprenticeship; increases respect, earning potential

AKRON, OHIO (GSP) - Despite the initial gross-out factor experienced by our intrepid Dr. Amar Pastel in the field of corpse embalming, Pastel has come into his own after only a few days. Due in part to knowing that his only chance of financial success is in an alternative occupation in a white-dominated business world, and part in his genuine growing affinity for replacing old non-circulating blood with various preservative liquids and fluids. Regardless, Pastel has taken to this new career with unbridled enthusiasm matched only by his exuberance for stealing other people's hobbies.

This new apprenticeship endeavor is a good thing, since his earning potential has increased (he was originally planning on becoming a doctor - and we all know how successful Indian/Asian doctors are.... they make no money!) and the respect from females has improved (since they are now aware that he has his hands inside dead people for a living). There is no question his quality of life has improved since beginning this apprenticeship under the world-renowned master-embalmer Dr. Koleen McGrink-Cronkler. With her DSLs, Pastel has been known to stay a little longer than he has to in the morgue/mortuary.... and who could blame him?

The rest of the GSL operation is running smoothly. Dimejio is busy creating playlists, Curtis is in negotiation and Alfred is still searching. Business as usual for GSL.

Reminder: Home Improvement is on at 5:30.

Calm down,
GS-One
